Help us bring the holidays to financially disadvantaged seniors.
For the last four years, Compassionate Artists has reached out to economically
disadvantaged seniors who wouldn’t have experienced the joy of the holidays
without our help
This year, we are expanding to six facilities. Each seasonal celebration includes a professional
holiday show, gift bags, themed treats, and lots of fun. We have been asked to serve 650 seniors
at a cost of $20 each, with the total expense coming to about $13,000. With your help, we can let
these individuals, who are invisible to society, know that someone cares.
Did you know?

- 37% of seniors in Los Angeles County live below the poverty level.

- 70% of those we serve have no family or have been abandoned by their families.

- The most frequently requested items are full-sized shampoo, body wash, a toothbrush, and toothpaste.
- Events such as this are proven to relieve depression, give people a sense of value, and increase their sense of well-being.
We will be bringing the celebration to locations in Long Beach, Bellflower & Downey, and bringing an additional concert to the Alpert Jewish Community Center in Long Beach.
